McDonnell Douglas model overview

Very often a client's innovative and exciting product or service can seem a little less than exciting when attempts are made to show it off at an exhibition. This display model was designed as an dynamic exhibition attraction, demonstrating a comparison between the ad-hoc methods of traditional software development and the streamlined, scientific approach pioneered by McDonnell Douglas. The model featured many moving parts, including pumped coloured water, recorded sound effects & sales message, plus a give away sample delivery system. Materials used: plywood, softwood, balsawood, plastics, glass, Pyrex, motors, pumps and electronic timing gizmos. Overall size: 2 metres high x 1.6metres wide.
